Valli Spherical Yellow Quartz - Quarzo Sferico Giallo is an alluvial origin sand, naturally rounded and straw-yellow in colour, feldspar-free and with a high content of SiO2, being 99%.

The granule has a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C), its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and has a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

Valli Spherical Yellow Quartz is intended for the use in the following fields: abrasives, aquariums, chemicals, paint factories, decorations, detergents, water treatment filters, foundries, bituminous coatings, sports facilities, cement mortars, concrete manufactures, flooring, swimming pools, prefabricated buildings, restorations, refractory materials, wall cladding, sandblasting, bathroom fixtures, sealants, glassworks, etc…

Valli Spherical Yellow Quartz is also available in the resin-coated type, giving the granulate a shiny effect and preventing the release of powders. It is possible to choose the type of resin: epoxy, polyurethane, for indoor or outdoor use.

Valli Granular Carbone Attivo is available in two varieties: plant origin (coconut shells) and mineral origin, both obtained by high temperature physical activation of selected raw materials.

Valli Granular Carbone Attivo is employed in various industrial processes, including the purification of water, dechlorination and purification of water for industrial use, wastewater treatment and reclamation of groundwater.

Valli Granular Carbone Attivo complies with the UNI EN ISO 12915 standard “Product for the treatment of water intended for human consumption - virgin granular activated carbon “.

It is available in several grain sizes.

The Giallo Siena marble features a colour that ranges from bright yellow to white. The quarries are located on the hills around Siena.

Giallo Siena is mainly used for the following purposes: prefabricated buildings, flooring, gardening, floriculture and wall cladding.

The Rosso Verona marble is a limestone extracted from the hills around Verona.

The Verona hills quarries feature a character of the land that, following several geological eras, is now able to give different colourings to the marble extracted from the same quarry: red, pink or white.

Rosso Verona is mainly used for the following purposes: prefabricated buildings, flooring, gardening, floriculture, agriculture and wall cladding.

The Giallo Mori marble is the trade name of an ochre-yellow compact limestone.

This marble is extracted in the northern area of Lake Garda.

Valli Collante Grigio 700 is a grey powder premixed adhesive plaster, for indoor and outdoor use, composed of selected mineral fillers, with continuous granulometric curve up to 0.7 mm, high resistance grey cement, polymers and specific additives to allow ease of installation, high elasticity and adhesion to the surfaces.

TheBianco Carrara marble is a type of limestone marble extracted from the quarries in the Apuan Alps in Tuscany.

It is internationally known for being one of the most valuable marbles. Its colour differs from that of the other marbles and it is unique in the world.

It is mainly used for the following purposes: prefabricated buildings, flooring, gardening, floriculture, agriculture, detergents, wall cladding and restorations.

The grey-blue Bardiglio marble is extracted from the quarries of the Apuan Alps in Tuscany.

It is a type of medium hardness limestone and it is therefore easy to use. The Bardiglio is mainly used for the following purposes: prefabricated buildings, flooring, gardening, floriculture and wall cladding.

Valli Snow White Ground - Macinato Bianco Neve quartz is a sand extracted from an underground quarry featuring a high degree of whiteness of the grain.

It is mechanically ground, dried and sieved. Valli Snow-White Ground Quartz features a very good quality thanks to the high content of SiO2, equal to 99.5%. The granule has a polyhedral shape and a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C). Its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

The Snow-White Quartz can be used in the following fields: ceramics, glassworks, paint factories, foundries and building industry. Valli snow-white ground quartz is also intended for the use in the field of stone agglomerates, thanks to the new facilities for friction washing, magnetic separation, acid leaching and optical sorting.

Valli Microsfere di vetro are widely used in several fields: up to 150 microns, they are an essential element to be added to paints, since they enhance their mechanical properties; in the plastics industry, on the other hand, they increase the resistance to abrasion.

Sometimes they are used in the dry sandblasting process of specific products.

Valli Microsfere di Vetro are also widely used in the production of road signs, for their capacity to generate the back reflection optical phenomenon, thus improving the reflective properties of signs and traffic dividers. In all their uses, Valli Microsfere di vetro can be post-sprayed or directly embedded in the manufacturing process of ready-to-use premixed products.

German Silica Sands are known in the glass industry for their purity and low iron content.

Valli Granulati has imported and distributed German Sands for over 50 years and has a deposit of over 4000 tons to serve customers.

These sands are used in many industrial fields and are particularly appreciated in the field of paints, wall cladding, sports courts with synthetic grass, beach volley courts, boules courts and horse-riding fields.

Valli Granulati can provide the German Sands in the following versions: natural, coloured and/or resin-coated.

French Silica Sands are known in the glass industry for their purity and low iron content.

Valli Natural Zeolite is of volcanic origin, with a high cation exchange and water absorption capacity.

Valli Natural Zeolite has a chabazite concentration over 65% and is used for the treatment of civil wastewaters, both individual and collective, rainwater, industrial waste, for the purification of sewage and rivers, brackish waters, to eliminate bad smells, and to stop the toxicity of modern pollution.

Valli Natural Zeolite can absorb nitrogen in the form of NH4+, heavy metals (lead, bay and zinc), radioactive ions, hydrocarbons, MtBE and dioxin. Valli Natural Zeolite is available in the following grain sizes: 0.7/2 mm and 2/5 mm. Without moisture at the outlet of the furnace, it can reabsorb from 6% to 9% of the ambient air water.

Valli Pirolusite is a natural mineral, with no additives and impurities, highly suitable for use as iron and manganese catalyst dissolved in waters.

Valli Pirolusite is used in pressure filters or gravity strainers, mixed from 20 to 50% by volume with sand of appropriate grain size, and allows reduction of iron and manganese below 0.05 and 0.02 mg/l.

Valli Pirolusite complies with the UNI EN ISO 13752 standard “Products for the treatment of water intended for human consumption - manganese dioxide”.

It is available in the following grain sizes: 0.35/0.85 mm and 0.5/3.35 mm.

Valli Olivina is the mineral that constitutes peridotitic rocks. It is an isomorphous mixture of magnesium silicate (Forsterite) and iron silicate (Fayalite).

Valli Olivina is available in two colours: grey green and green/light green. The two colours differ not only in the shade but also in the different percentage of Forsterite and Fayalite in the mineral, which cause a higher or lower content of magnesium oxide and a higher or lower refractoriness.

Valli Olivina is available in different grain sizes.

Valli Mica is a natural silicate of different types that differ for composition, colour, purity and perfectly lamellar structure.

Valli Mica, also known as muscovite, does not contain quartz and has a good degree of whiteness. We offer micronised Mica for anti-corrosive, protective and masking paints; Mica fine powder for indoor and outdoor wall plasters having anti-cracking functionality and matt effects; Mica flakes for decorations with anti-cracking functionality.

Valli Mica is resistant to most acids, oxidation and heat; it is insoluble in water and is completely neutral.

Valli Madreperla is a highly valuable material, iridescent pearl white, made from the inner layer of shells.

It is used for its hardness in the production of various objects, for the decoration of specific surfaces and for artistic floorings, especially in the Venetian-style terrazzo.

It is still currently used for the creation of inlay drawings and furniture decoration.

Valli Granos is a mineral product that is not siliceous, magnetic, aggressive nor soluble in water.

It features sharp edges, which give it a high abrasive power, a high efficiency per square meter and a strong penetrating effect. It is suitable for dry sandblasting and for the removal of paints and rusts. It does not contain free silica.

Valli Garnet is a natural mineral commonly called “abrasive sand”, mostly known for its toughness and hardness.

Valli Garnet is a red-brown material, chemically inert, non-metallic and odourless. It is particularly suitable for water sandblasters, water jets, for the cleaning of various surfaces such as iron, steel, cement and wood and for the preparation thereof for further operations.

Valli Garnet is free from toxic substances, is non-radioactive and is not carcinogenic. It complies with all the rules on health and safety in the workplace and on the protection of the environment. Valli Garnet can also be used in the mechanical filtration of water.

Valli Corindone is a mineral, aluminium oxide, with an exceptionally rapid abrasive capacity for any type of material.

It is particularly suitable for recycling sandblasting, thanks to its high impact resistance, due to its hardness on the Mohs scale being 8.

Valli Corindone is non-toxic and is absolutely free of substances harmful to the health. There are different types of corundum; this allows to choose the degree of incision best suitable for any need. The high degree of purity and the absence of contaminating impurities allow to obtain perfectly clean surfaces, ready for further processing.

Valli Corindone is ductile and can be used in the treatment of noble metals, plastics, glass, stainless steel. It can also be used in the dental and goldsmith industry, etc.

Valli Corindone is also used as an anti-slip and anti-wear additive in the production of floor tiles, in the production of ceramic manufactures or embedded in the production process of ready-to-use premixed products.

Valli Carbonato di calcio is a natural mineral filler, widely used in agriculture and animal husbandry, for the production of paints and plastic materials, in the building and chemical industry.

Valli Carbonato di Calcio, available in various colours, is ground, dried and sieved in the different grain sizes, which can also be customised.

Valli Basalto is a dark or black volcanic origin effusive rock, with a relatively low (from 45 to 52% by weight) silica content (SiO2).

Basalt originates from solidified magma in contact with air or water and is the main rock forming the outer layer of the oceanic crust.

Valli Basalto is used in constructions, as an aggregate for road paving, for railway ballasts, for self-locking screeds and for artistic creations.

Valli Basalto is available in multiple grain sizes, from 0 to 60 mm.

Valli Barite is a high density mineral (4.2-4.3 g/cm3) and with a resistance to acids and alkalis. It is unaffected by weather and marine agents and it is known for its easy dispersive features. It has a very versatile white filler, resistant to U.V. rays and high temperatures.

Valli Barite is used in paints, oil-based varnishes, powder, synthetic, vinyl and acrylic paints, water paints, sealants, mastics, adhesives, plastic materials, polymers, PVC, polyurethanes, elastomers and rubbers in general.

Valli Granular Antracite is of natural origin and derives from bright and shining dark grey sedimentary rocks, the main component of which is carbon, accompanied by a small amount of sulphur, nitrogen and hydrogen.

Valli Granular Antracite is mainly used in the water purification field. The product is carefully processed and selected based on the granulometric curve and the chemical composition.

Valli Granular Antracite complies with the UNI EN 12909 standard, “chemicals used for the treatment of water intended for human consumption”. Having a lower density and a higher grain size than silica sands, it is suitable for filtering waters, in both the civil and industrial fields. The filtering action is carried out by the irregular shape of the grains creating intragranular holes. This allows to obtain high filtration speed and good retention of impurities, with minor load loss.

Valli Granular Anthracite is available in regular grain sizes: 0.6/1.2 mm,1.2/2.5 mm and 2.5/5 mm or upon the customer’s specific request.

Valli Alogran is a ground mineral filler with a grain size of 0.1-0.3 mm.

Valli Alogran differs for its very high whiteness, reaching 90 points, on a scale from 0 to 100, making it a unique product.

It is particularly suitable for the use in the building industry, for both paints and decorations.

All Valli Ventilated Quartz are produced with high efficiency technology, capable of ensuring consistency of the product in terms of particle granulometric distribution (quartz are checked with sieves and laser devices), chemical analysis (quartz are checked with XRF) and colorimetric analysis (finished products are checked with a colorimeter).

Valli Ventilated Quartz is highly appreciated for its whiteness and is available in multiple sizes, starting from 3 microns. Its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and has a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

It is used in the following fields: paints and varnishes, paint factories, abrasives, chemicals, mortars, floorings, restoration, refractory materials, wall cladding, bathroom fixtures, sealants, etc…

Valli Ticino Sand - Sabbia del Ticino or River Sand is an alluvial origin sand, naturally rounded, polychrome in colour and with a SiO2 content between 83 and 86%. The granule has a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C), its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and has a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

Valli Ground - Macinato quartz is a quartz sand that is mechanically ground, dried and sifted.

The quarry is located in Piedmont. Valli Ground Quartz is then processed in our premises where we have a 3000 tonne storage, for the different grain sizes.

It is a very good quality quartz thanks to the high content of SiO2, being 96%. The granule has a polyhedral shape and a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C). Its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and it has a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

Valli Extra White - Extra Bianco Quartz is a high quality sand with a SiO2 content being 99.2%, it is processed with an optical sorting machine to remove any colour impurity.

It is mechanically ground, dried and sieved in various grain sizes. Valli Extra White Quartz is a crystal of polyhedral shape, with a high level of whiteness and a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C). Its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and has a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

Valli Extra White Quartz is intended for the following fields: aquariums, paint factories, decorations, floorings, wall cladding, etc…

Valli Coloured Calcium Carbonate and Valli Coloured Dolomite are natural aggregates, rinsed, dried, and then artificially coloured.

The dyeing process uses pure pigments, natural oxides and synthetic resins, which give the granule a high resistance to water and light. Valli Granulati has an archive of over 1500 colours and is capable of producing endless customised colours, in several grain sizes.

Valli Coloured Calcium Carbonate and Valli Coloured Dolomite are used in the following fields: wall cladding, locations for events, showcases decoration, aquariums and decoration. They are completely non-toxic sands, obtained with a process that does not alter the pH values and are perfectly compatible with plants and animals.

The premixed Vallimix product is a hardening powder for industrial flooring.

It is always available in the following colours: grey, charcoal, red, tobacco and green. Upon request, it is possible to imitate any other shade.

Vallimix is available upon request with the addition of basalt, corundum and steel grits, which allow higher resistance.

Vallimix is packaged in 25 kg non-branded or customised paper bags on 1575 kg pallets.
