Valli Ground - Macinato quartz is a quartz sand that is mechanically ground, dried and sifted.

The quarry is located in Piedmont. Valli Ground Quartz is then processed in our premises where we have a 3000 tonne storage, for the different grain sizes.

It is a very good quality quartz thanks to the high content of SiO2, being 96%. The granule has a polyhedral shape and a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C). Its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and it has a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

Valli Ground Quartz is also intended for the use in the following fields: abrasives, aquariums, chemicals, paint factories, decorations, detergents, water treatment filters, foundries, bituminous coatings, sports facilities, cement mortars, concrete manufactures, floorings, swimming pools, prefabricated buildings, restorations, refractory materials, wall cladding, sandblasting, bathroom fixtures, sealants, glassworks, etc…
