Valli Snow White Ground - Macinato Bianco Neve quartz is a sand extracted from an underground quarry featuring a high degree of whiteness of the grain.

It is mechanically ground, dried and sieved. Valli Snow-White Ground Quartz features a very good quality thanks to the high content of SiO2, equal to 99.5%. The granule has a polyhedral shape and a high resistance to heat (1500-1700°C). Its hardness index on the Mohs scale is 7 and a specific weight of 1500 kg per cubic meter.

The Snow-White Quartz can be used in the following fields: ceramics, glassworks, paint factories, foundries and building industry. Valli snow-white ground quartz is also intended for the use in the field of stone agglomerates, thanks to the new facilities for friction washing, magnetic separation, acid leaching and optical sorting.
